Growing up in a military family, Troy Alexander Heyward was influenced at a young age by his mother; she taught him the importance of being well dressed and meticulously put together at all times. Having moved from state to state and living in places like Seoul, Korea, Troy’s exposure to different worlds led to an early love of travel and culture, which led directly to a career in fashion; working with clients such as Lisa Oz, Celebrity Chef Maneet Chauhan, Range Rover UK – Land Rover, American Airlines, SAP, Warner Bros Records UK, Constellation Brands Inc, Maurice Sedwell, Kering and Gilt Groupe. In recent years, Troy shifted his focus to men’s style, his true passion. While attending and observing at The Savile Row Academy in London, Troy wrote a men-focused column on Weight Watchers.com, with an emphasis on fashion and style.
Troy’s love of luxury products drove him to create Troy Alexander Project; a blog that caters specifically to men who value style, travel, food, art, culture and fashion. The aim is tightly focused on that group; Troy Alexander Project doesn’t try to be all things to all people. It’s for a male niche audience, and it’s somewhere they can go for consistent, compelling, informative content.
